There are many words that could effectively describe Sir Elton John...talented, flamboyant, genius, iconic,  artistic, outlandish, exciting, etc. At the very least he is undeniably a Legend. I've been listening to Elton for as long as I can remember, and though a person could be fully satisfied with his hits alone, I was pleasantly surprised to find that almost all of his music is marvelous!

He started playing the piano at the young age of 3 and his natural talent shined immediately. A less than perfect upbringing would do nothing to stop him from where he was headed. The music that exists within him was meant to resonate around the world, and thank goodness for that. In his early career, he teamed up with lyricist Bernie Taupin to put together the beginnings of his extraordinary musical library. Moving on to become one of the most recognized musical artist in History, he has had more than 50 Top 40 hits, including 9 #1's. He's been awarded 6 Grammy's, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, & a Tony, and was ranked #49 on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of "100 Greatest Artists of All Time". He was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1994, and is now a "Sir" thanks to his "services to music and charitable services". His involvement in the fight against AIDS has led to the formation of the Elton John AIDS Foundation. He has also had a huge impact on the homosexual community. Married to his partner since 2005, he remains a driving force in the LGBT social movements.

Intoxicating music, countless hits, and worldwide recognition have elevated Sir Elton John to the highest degree of artistry. A decorated(no pun intended) performer, Elton's irresistible charm and dynamic vocals are the perfect compliment to his uninhibited piano playing. One way or another he'll get to you...and that's the best part!
